Remember The Dog, Sutter's Mill, Bombs, Bull's Horn, Phone 3 Lounge, The Bear and Bull, and all those other legendary watering holes where friendships were made, romances began, and more than a few questionable decisions became stories we'd tell for the next 50 years?

Our Richmond, Kentucky Old School Bars commemorative print brings together more than two dozen iconic bars, taverns, and nightclubs that helped define generations of Richmond nightlife and EKU college life. From the wild weekends of the 60s, '70s and '80s to the unforgettable nights of the '90s and beyond.... these were the places where Richmond came alive after dark.

Remember cruising around town looking for your friends before cell phones existed? Running into half your graduating class on a Friday night? The bands, the DJs, the bartenders, the regulars, the last calls... the announcement---"You don't have to go home ... but you can't stay here ...."  And those Sunday mornings when you promised yourself you'd never drink again .... at least until the next Thursday night?

Most of these legendary establishments have been gone for decades. Their buildings have changed, their signs have disappeared, and the people who filled them have scattered across the country... even across the world..  But mention one of these old bars to somebody who was there, and watch the stories start flowing!
