Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has announced the creation of “Investigation Team No. 5,” a new prosecutorial task force focused on examining potential Polish links to the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein. Tusk said Poland cannot allow any allegations involving the abuse of Polish children connected to Epstein’s network to be ignored or minimized. His government argues that if Polish victims or Polish territory were involved, Poland has both the authority and the obligation to investigate.

According to Tusk, references in the released materials — including indications that individuals connected to the Polish city of Krakow may have communicated about providing “women or girls” — warrant further scrutiny. He stated there are additional leads that need to be examined. The newly formed unit, made up of three experienced prosecutors, will conduct preliminary inquiries into what officials describe as a potential international organized criminal group. Depending on their findings, a full criminal investigation could follow.

Separately, Poland’s Justice Ministry has created another task force led by Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek to analyze the extensive Epstein case files, identify any Polish connections, and present relevant findings to the public.

Żurek said it is the state’s duty to determine whether crimes occurred on Polish soil or involved Polish citizens. Polish authorities have also indicated they may seek access to additional materials held by U.S. officials.

Żurek has also stated he will make available ALL FINDINGS to the world press.

Supporters of this move see it as a serious step toward accountability, arguing that any credible lead — regardless of where it points — deserves thorough investigation.
